This orchid won the Vandaceous  award at the Central Vancouver Island Orchid Society’s Show and Sale in Nanaimo on March 1st.  The name tag was tucked away out of sight, hence I didn’t catch the name.  Vandaceous orchids are native to humid forests in tropical Asia.
