May 24, 25, 26 and 27 / 2018. 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Perennial Ridge Farms annual 4-day plant sale.
Hello fellow plant lovers, garden walkers and farm fans !!!!! I would like to invite everyone to Perennial Ridge Farms, for our annual
4 day plant sale, a self-guided tour through the gardens, and of course a visit with the new goat clan from this spring. Five healthy kids !
They put on a great show, very entertaining!!
The past couple of weeks, we have seen the temperature soar, and plants, especially rhodos and azaleas have been putting on a great show. They all have budded well over this past winter in the gardens. We hope to see you all out here at the farm. The sale will be four days, starting on the Thursday (May 24), and finishing on the Sunday (May 27). Open times for the four days is 10 am to 5 pm.
On May 24, Thursday, we will have the Victoria Master Gardener Association here with volunteers to assist in your gardening questions. We will have Hostas and Ferns, Oriental and Asiatic Lilies, Peonies, Astilbes, Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Lilacs, Raspberries, Currants, Rhubarb, Tayberry, Honeysuckle Vines, Deciduous Trees, Flowering Shrubs, and Perennials and Succulents.
To find Perennial Ridge Farms, follow (Old) Cowichan Lake Rd. for 7 km from the Tansor Service Station, heading west. Follow the bright green signs, till you come to Jordans Lane on your left.
Recycle, Reuse and Reduce! Any unwanted used 1 gal., 2 gal., or larger pots will be gladly accepted! We also will gladly take back any unwanted egg cartons !

June to October 2018 Floral Design Judges Course. There will be classes on 12 Saturdays from June to October, 2018.
In addition students will be required to enter 10 exhibits in public show and receive 3 first place ribbons between May 1st, 2018 and October 31, 2020; And Observe a BC Council of Garden Clubs Judge at 5 public shows (not parlour shows or show benches at club meetings); And Co-Judge with a BC Council of Garden Clubs Judge at 5 public shows (not parlour shows or show benches at club meetings).

Saturday, June 16, 2018 1 – 3 pm. The View Royal Garden Club will hold its Summer Garden Show in Wheeley Hall, 500 Admirals Rd. (behind Esquimalt United Church, enter off Lyall St.). This show is judged by Accredited B.C. judges. Admission of $5. includes refreshments and door prizes. There will be a sale of plants and garden items. Non-members are welcome to exhibit.
CVGC June Meeting. June 13, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Church Hall, 486 Jubilee St., Duncan
June 23 & 24, 10 am – 4 pm Quadra Island Biennial Quilt and Garden Tour. Tickets are $15, good for both days and available at the Tourist Information Booth in Quathiaski Cove on the day of the tour. There are 13 properties on the tour, 10 of which will include quilts. The gardens are varied including specialty gardens, organic vegetable gardens and small farms. July 4, 2018, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm CVGC Annual Bus Tour to Royal Roads Garden and other Gardens of Note. Tickets: $37 available at June meeting. Please sign up promptly to ensure your place on the bus!
July 15, 2018 The Point Roberts (WA) Garden Club holds its acclaimed garden tour every other year. This year is number XV!
10 am to 4 pm. Cost: $20 per person
This self-guided tour of eight wonderful gardens includes a map and a stop for afternoon tea with music.
Note: enhanced driver’s license or passport required to cross the border.
